Hey Guys,

I have read in the forums about "SecureMyCompany" and decided to check it out. I was redirected to "CloudServicesDepot." (http://www.cloudservicesdepot.com/)

Has anybody had experience with these guys since the name change, or change of hands, or whatever happened?

I dealt with them for awhile until I ran across Bull Terrier and their prices were cheaper and the service is outstanding.

I use them both as SMC/CSD. It's the same company, they just changed the name and started offering Help Desk and NOC Services with the hosted Kaseya.

I also checked out Bull Terrier and found the prices to be more expensive? I think these companies are lowering their prices all the time, so it might be to go back and compare often.

I just started using the NOC services and I am looking at Help Desk. Anyone using their Help Desk? The NOC services have been excellent so far, but I only have 2 client sites up and runnning.

As far as support goes - it was okay support until about March/April of this year. With the name change to Cloud Services Depot everything got much better. I got a dedicated account manager and they expand the email/phone/chat support to 24x7. I've only called a few times since then, but each time the issue was resolved to my satisfaction.

Cloud Services Depot -UPDATE

I still receive a few emails each week re: this thread, so I thought I would update it.

I've been using the Cloud Services Depot NOC for about two months. So far, it's been good. A few tickets had issues, but my account mgr fixed it without much hassle.

Also, I just completed my second account review call yesterday. Very helpful and I like the reports they give you about the service.

In the past month they have released a new NOC Portal, which is huge improvement over the previous system. Screenshots here:

The most common question I get asked: Do I have to buy Hosted Kaseya for NOC?

NO! I host my own Kaseya, so you don't have to buy it from Cloud Services Depot. I see they support Labtech, Level Platforms, LogMeIn and others now.

If all you want is Hosted Kaseya, VirtualAdminstrator.com starts at 6.95/mo per computer monitored compared to 8.95 for CSD.

For those running Kaseya, do you create a new user accnt on all the systems with the same password so you can manage them easier?

We use a unique 'noc' account at each client site/domain. There is a place to enter the credentials in the Cloud Services Depot NOC Portal. If you view the 'Client Site' screenshot, you can see where to enter the info:

By using a separate noc account for each client, we can adhere to the existing policies at the client site (password expiration, login attempts, etc.)
Also, if we lose a client it is easy to update a single account without affecting the other parties too much.

That makes perfect sense for management ( and is very useful info), but I was referring more to the actual clients. Do you create a new user account on each computer with the same log-on and password?

For managed clients, we integrate the user accounts with our AD so that our techs can use one login across all clients (and the internal corp network).

For break/fix clients, we setup an admin-level domain account to use on all workstations. If we need to use the local admin account, then we use the password for the account (known by the biz owner and the IT service company).
