I'm about to pull the trigger on a back up tool for myself and also my local church. For myself, I've used Norton Ghost, acronis and the free SyncBackFree for my church. Acronis has just become unstable, especially the 2012 version and Norton is a bit dated when it comes to keeping up with current features. Now all of these programs I've mention here can do a job but of the two I've mention in the title, which one would you go for and why? I know there are other fantastic tools out there, so what are you using?

I think casper works very well myself. I just used macrium recently and liked it too. I used just the free version on macrium.

Casper works great for cloning/backing up our PCs. Set and forget. Been using for about a year now. Never heard of the other app you mentioned.

Yeah, there's a pretty comprehensive review here. I've tried it but prefer EASEUS Backup for my clients that need an imaging program. I do use AOEMEI's partition assistant and have never had a problem with it.

After reading some more reviews and accessing my needs going forward, I ended up getting ShadowProtect Pro and see myself probably upgrade to the IT edition in the future. I do have to say though its a solid program and a image of my 240GB SSD drive took a little over a hr.
