For you all that have your vehicles wrapped, can you let me know about what you paid? I got a quote today for $1500, not full car, but sides and the back window. They are doing up my CTG logo to look fresh and get noticed a bit more than my sad old $300 vinyl letters, (that worked!). I am changing it up to promote business support now instead of residential.

Just seeing if this is the ballpark or not, thanks everyone!

I was quoted $1600 for the full car. Got the rear window done for $60. This is Wyoming though, not cali.

I think I posted a pic in the pics of your ride thread.

I'm in NYC and I paid $800 for my small hatchback and $1050 for the SUV. there are many places around here that do it so it keeps the price down.

Is your paint good on the car? Do you really need a full wrap? I have had several of my previous company vehicles lettered up and looked really good and only spent $400 at most. Find a good sign shop and look at their samples of previous work they have done.

$2600 for a Focus. It was a pro installation that removed lights, antennas, door handles, etc. to get the vinyl underneath so it has a painted look. Some areas you still see the edge like inside door jams, trim parts, etc.. There are differences in printing technology, vinyl brand, and installation techniques that could have done the same design for $1000 less.

I had to pay an $80 down payment for the designer, but I think I might check around for other quotes. Not sure, these guys do a lot of good work.

@pceinc thanks, my quote of $1500 and the work will be about what you have done, but nothing on the hood or top. So maybe it's about right on.

@acscva My last graphic work was $300, so for a bit more, I might attract bigger clients, the truck does a great job of marketing for me so I figure I will invest.

It is black with pink letters currently. The funny thing is that the guy recognized me right away when I drove up.

I've decided to break down and spend some money on the van, '07 Caravan. Got an appointment tomorrow to talk to a company about that. Not sure I'll go with a total wrap due to expense but I'll see what they come up with.

Only one I am aware of is someone I know that wrapped a Ford Econoline several years ago. Complete vehicle and I think it was around $3500 or so.

I have a Caravan too. I almost had it wrapped before I bought the Focus. There is a lot of real estate on that thing. My wrap guy recommended a partial starting behind the front wheel and going up at an angle just behind the front windows. He quoted me $1600. Of course it did not need the roof or hood done since it's not really seen that much.

I had the rear window of my 2002 Yukon done last year. They used that material that allows you to see out of the vehicle while driving, but from behind you see the graphic. I paid $250 or thereabouts. The only warning I would have to anyone if you live in a rainy climate those little micro holes fill with water and drops visibility to zero out the back. My wife hates driving it now.

that gives me a pretty decent idea of what my escape would look like wrapped. My escape is pretty much a stretched out focus.

Here's what I have on my Saturn Vue. Back window and two rear side windows. Original cost was about $250 including design and install almost 4 years ago. Just had it replaced a month ago and they charged me $160.

I just signed off on getting my Caravan wrapped. They called it 3/4 wrap since I'm not doing the roof. I have a roof rack and regularly carry ladders. He estimated around $2600 TT&L. He said they should have some mockups done by the end of next week.

wrap

We paid $700ish for our ford service car. But its not a wrap just a lot of vinyl.
Wraps are generally $2-$4k around these parts depending on size. On our full size van we were getting quotes of 3-4k

I paid $400. The other side says "Computer Repair"
I also paid $35 each for two more cars only for the back window.
She was part of my BNI so I got a discount.

I didn't go for full body wrap because it's too flashy. I just want something simple.

Car looks great! Good job...

I just had mine "half-wrapped" for $1k. Prices ranged from $1-1500 for different levels of half wraps. High end with perforated windows and low end without.

I ended up getting half of it done, $641 for everything. I love it! I'll put up pics later...mine are like rsarceno's, a bit here and there.

@teche, my quote for less than yours was $1500, and more they said.

Just had to share some pics of one of my Priuses being pulled apart for wrapping. It's amazing what needs to be done to have a professional job. Part 1 of 2.

Very nice. I remember taking my 2 day old Focus in. I was nervous when I stopped by to check on the status and it looked like the car was being stripped for parts.

$700ish

If I remember correctly our Ford was around $700 as were all the cars we've ever done. Van was $1000 but was much bigger of course. Never had an actual wrap just vinyl. Quotes were a lot for wraps. We've since dropped the blue from our logo so we are getting ready to have them re-done.
