Can anyone confirm if the hp pavilion or any consumer (walmart) series still has the sata/ahci operation in the bios?

I have a client that's over an hour away that is going to be getting a new hp tower soon. Going to image over previous drive and usually need bios to have this option. It's been forever since I've setup a new hp. I know in most of the new dells you have to change it from RAID to SATA/AHCI mode.

Google ai and other things I've read claim this but was wondering if anyone can for sure confirm.

Thank you.

I can't say for sure but most BIOS I have seen have a legacy boot option of some kind.

It would seem that should be the case I was thinking but I know these companies often do strange things you don't expect lol.
