Best Long Range Wi-Fi Network setup

Real distance is not much better than line-of-sight... unfortunately. For as awesome as it is and the flexibility it allows, Wi-Fi is the scourge of networking; I hate it.

Every-time I get a support ticket ... it is mostly WiFi.

WiFi is to Networking as Printing is to Desktop Support

Topic here is more "point to point wireless links"...which isn't really wifi (unless he did mesh). But the components we're talking about is point to point. Rock solid reliable once setup, never have to touch it again.

But I love big "wifi" setups too...such a fun challenge, doing large setups. I have to go validate a wireless network (that someone else setup) at a school tomorrow, a big Fortinet setup...and give it a tuneup with some small changes it probably needs.

I ordered two of the nanobeams!

Once setup, I will just switch my existing netgear nighthawk router in building 2 to Access Point mode, and hopefully that's it!

Thank you for the recommendations!
