This is a quick comparison, as I just installed all three on my personal system.
Panda Global - Fast scan, found a few items, but they were false positives. They were remote control apps. It also deleted files on the exclusion list, circumventing the quarantine area. Had to use recovery software to retrieve! This was intolerable, so tried the standard version of Panda, and it did the same thing.
Kaspersky - standard a/v installed. Scan was quite slow, time to complete was continuously incorrect. A few min. to completion was forever and a day to continue. It did however, not find any viruses in my excluded folder locations, but it still took the time to scan through them?! I watched as each file / location kept listing in the scan area - waste of time, removed. I DO however, use this application for customers, as it is aggressive in its findings, with few, if any, false positives, plus it seems to impact little on resources - although the exclusion issue is bothersome, it still doesn't actually seem to do anything to those files.
Avast - Pro version. Currently installed. A little hard to find the exclusion section, but was good at speed. It never touched my exclusions. Very fast scanning. I like the included sandbox feature as an option, but have not yet tested it. Also like the quick little statistics view - both local and global. My main purposes are just the A/V features/speed though. So far, this one fits the bill. If it fails, I'll post reply.
