My wireless Atheros AR5006EG Wireless Network Adapter
in my fs amilo pa 1358 just died it does not work
under Windows XP or Ubuntu.
(i)It does not show up under the device manager under any OS
(ii) The card is probably on cuz the LED for WiFi is shining on the front of the laptop
(iii)I cannot see the card under BIOS .Can anyone give me a method of entering advanced options BIOS on this laptop cuz standard BIOS options using the key F2 at bootup are so few ,I read somewhere that the advanced options are hidden so users to not tamper with them and the key combination or password to enter the advanced BIOS settings are only available to service technicians.
