Are PKC installations of Office 2016 CTR?

I have an attorney customer that uses TimeMatters software. They are upgrading to the new version and I see in the TM requirements that if you use Office 2016, then it must have a Click-to-Run installation for the integration with Outlook to work.

I should probably know this, but if you purchase a Product Key Card perpetual version of Office H&B, then do the install by creating a Microsoft account for the company, do you end up with a Click-to-Run installation or an MSI installation?

If it is MSI and you have to go O365 to get CTR, then this will be the first situation that forced a client to O365 for me (too many acronyms in one sentence, I know.)
 
Yes, that looks likely. I will have to research to figure out how the activation works with all of that. We're also asking our vendor's MS rep - I'll post what we find out.
