Apple Watch Flame: Don't see anyone suing over IP or Interface

Just a flame thread to point out the Apple double standard.

I don't see anyone suing anyone over the copy-cat iPhone watch, Swipe interface extremely similar to Android's "Wear Cards" (Apple calls them "Glances") and menu system or the fact that the watch has rounded corners in a aluminum case construction, looking just like a Pebble Watch. Also, the watch faces are customizable.. an Android Wear original (And the Apple interface for selecting those faces looks identical to Android). Pressing and holding on the screen brings you to the "Change Face" interface.. just like an Android Wear watch. Haptic feedback, just like many Android watches. Inductive charger just like the Moto 360 and some others.

SO, it's just nice to see that Apple is concerned (and suing, sued others) for the exact things above when dealing with smart phones... yet, when they come out with a product they have no problem copying others.

Just sayin'
Rant over.

Are there existing patents on those things you mentioned?
If not then there how could there be any sueing?

I'm quite proud to be iPhone free and will, most definitely, be iWatch free for as long as I can. I honestly don't see the appeal in having a watch that only works if it is tethered to my phone.

When the watch replaces the phone, they might get my attention then...or will it follow the same path as my old calculator watch?

It seems to me a backwards move. I for one enjoy not having to wear a phone anymore (err watch..) as my phone has a clock. LOL

I love my Blackberry Z10 :D Use it as my personal phone.....

I love my iPhone 6 as well. Does so much that my Z10 doesn't do, but then my Z10 does so much more that my iPhone doesn't. In terms of the Apple Watch, I'll give it a miss. I have a Polar Loop attached to my wrist most of the time, which communicates to the Polar App on the iPhone, and to the Health App.

In terms of time keeping... got the phone, the office clocks, the PC clocks, the car clock, the reminders that come up on my phone.... Do I really need any more?

Believe it or not, I'm buying one. For me and my phone time, I think it will be a benefit for my business. Now the shopping, wow $749 for the one I want! YIKES
