In another thread, about having all versions of win 7 on 1 disk, there were issues with that.
1. The link no longer works
2. The download could contain viruses on the installs.
I thought it was best to create a new thread stating what I just found out and did myself. So I can confirm ths works.
Go to http://code.kliu.org/misc/win7utils/ and download the ei.cfg Removal Utility (Credit to user CompConfig for providing the link)
(This is a simple tool that will remove the ei.cfg from any Windows 7 ISO disc image, thereby converting the image into a "universal disc" that will prompt the user to select an edition during setup.)
Then get your own copy of your win 7 iso file. (one for x86 and one for x64)
I used Win 7 Pro iso.
Run the ei.cfg Removal Utility and select your iso file. Burn the iso file. Run the ei.cfg Removal Utility again and you can now restore the iso back to it's normal state.
You now have a x86 or x64 disk that will install all versions of Windows 7 (you need your own serial keys of course for each version).
Job done - 2 DVD's with all versions of windows 7
See my screenshot I took of my disk.
