Thanks shiny, saw that and link on page, but I like to use a manual for tear downs if poss. Those are a bit hopeless for that

I've never had luck finding Advent manuals so had to use trial and error to tear them down.

Are these laptops not usually rebranded ECS products? Maybe you need to research who actually made the laptop, and you may find a manual that way.

The ASdvent 5421 is a rebranded Uniwill U50sI1, which is identical to a Gericom Phantom A4 Superlight 53120, however all im getting is crumby owners manuals for all 3
