3 beeps after led replacement

This is one of the pain-in-the-xxx models where you have to remove the mobo just to get at the hard drive. I had to pull the palmrest, keyboard and several little connectors.

Ok, not sure but did you pull the HD just to replace the LCD ?

Doesn't matter, this was just a bad experience, it happens.

no I did not, but I will be, (lets hope the drive is ok!!) I offered him free data transfer to a new pc and gave him $50 back for the screen, he seemed happy, heres the other thread I found for anybody elses info...

well, I had to tear out the hard drive to get his data and I found the last clip, look where it was..
