Sheesh, I would never have tried to tinker around with that old a machine.
What I mean is, unless it is going to profit me in the future, I will not tinker.
Any Pentium 3 machine just goes to the recycler.
Honestly, I turn down work on anything prior to Pentium 4, and even with some of those I will often just recommend replacement.
I have an old TI 99 in my "memories" trunk if you want to mess around with it. Only cost me $950 in 1984. It is great for playing Space Invaders
