Website feedback

Clicked on the "Home" text at the top in your menu and it goes to http version of your site? Which doesn't exist.
You need to fix your redirects properly as well. http + https won't work. Only https://www version works.
I couldn't see a mobile menu at the top for your site as well?

I would strongly suggest you look at getting another WP theme.
Avada is quite easy to use.

Regards,

Loaded quickly for me. Looks like many, if not all, of the of the subs were also downloaded. But when I was in one of them and clicked on the Home hyperlink I got the below. Another hint. If you are working on things don't make changes on the fly, wait for some feedback first.

Wow, I lived across the road from you in 2012. I lived on the top floor at 67 Pennard Rd. The window with the wood ventian blinds was my office. You could see my window from your window.

It seems the server is really spotty. Sometimes it loads fast, sometimes it loads slow, sometimes it doesnt load at all.

There is no immediate reason why I should choose you. I have 10 tabs of competing businesses open, why should I choose you? Are you faster? better? more local? insured? more experienced? friendly?
Have a tag line up the top so people can immediately see why they should choose you over the other 9 open tabs.

Make the top navigation bigger.

Not related directly to your Web site, but aren't you in Shepherd's Bush not Holland Park?
Yeah, its Shepherds Bush there. Shepherds Bush hasnt got the best reputation but its neighbouring suburb Holland Park is elite. May just be a branding move.

Pretty neat setup actually, having the lower rents of living in Shepherds Bush while servicing the elite clients one suburb over. You can command a higher price that they wouldnt bat an eye at.

Kind of a "New York - Paris - Peckham" thing, then? Not misleading at all!
He may primarily target Holland Park. Its no different to "Computer Repair for Seniors". It doesnt mean hes a senior himself.

If someone from Holland Park chose "Holland Park Computers" because they appear to be local. He is still super local. He posts his actual address on the site too.

As someone who lived a stones throw away from him (I could literally hit his house with a stone from my former office window), there is only a park and a round-about between him and Holland Park. He could drive anywhere in Holland Park within about 5 minutes.

I do get what you are saying, but in this context I dont think the name matters as much. If I ordred "Maine Lobster", I would expect that Lobster to have been caught in Maine. In that case, the location definitely matters.

I just see this in the same category as "Computer Repair for Seniors".

Handy for Kensington too, I'd swear the Bush is getting worse though.

Its Word Press :( So I will be blunt and to the point.

The images are boring and dull and they don't fit the scheme. The site lacks any depth and color. The design does not utilize the entire screen. I don't like boxed websites. Everything on your site and that you have to offer can be put within a one page design with room to spare. Wheres your contact page? Its at the bottom of all your pages in the footer. No contact form.

Also, you state terms & conditions apply. Well, where are these terms and conditions? They are no where to be found on your site.

Now then, dont take anything I say personally. I critique a lot of websites - just ask around here :D

All feedback welcome, forgot about T&Cs, thanks.

1. lose the image selection crawl on the home page, it serves no purpose and takes up space.

2. Computer Services page . I read "computer services" three times before any information. It is redundant and superfluous.

Computer Services

Computer Services

HOLLAND PARK COMPUTER SERVICES FOR HOME:

Change it to "For the Home" and the same with "HOLLAND PARK COMPUTER SERVICES FOR BUSINESS: " change to "For Business"
3. "Our London based tune-up service removes rubbish..." do I have to take my computer to London?

4. Use a more active voice for the descriptive paragraphs.

"Holland Park Computers will remove programs you no longer need making your computer faster and more reliable. More disk space will become available and boot up time can improve. Holland Park Computers will ensure any unwanted programs are removed carefully."

"We speed up your computer and make it more reliable and flexible by carefully removing unnecessary programs. Faster start up and more room for your photos and documents"

Hope I am not to harsh. We all get attached to what we write and it is tough to take objective criticism.
