HP ProBook 440 G5. New laptop. Replaced the included 256 GB NVMe with a 1TB WD and did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro before it left our workshop. Don't currently have physical access to the machine to do anything in the BIOS.

When I try to enable Bitlocker I get the error "The Startup options on this PC are configured incorrectly". When I check the TPM from within Windows it shows as "Ready".
I have enabled the policy "Enable use of BitLocker authentication requiring preboot keyboard on slates" and the policy "Disallow standard users from changing the PIN or password" but nothing has changed.

Any ideas?

Just had one of these the other day. If it's using TPM 2.0 you'll need to be in UEFI mode. Otherwise, switch it to TPM 1.6, IIRC.

I hope that's a 1TB SSD.

Pretty sure you also need SecureBoot on which requires UEFI booting. Did you turn on legacy boot when you replaced the drive?
