I have been using Ubiquiti Edge Routers and their UAP's for a few years and don't really have any complaints... but am looking for something commercial grade that is in between.

Something for that small <10 systems + ~10 Wireless clients small business.

Yes, a combo unit router + WAP.

Any solid recommendations?

TIA!

Since we discussed DD-WRT (or the need to get away from it) I've been using the Cisco RV110W Wireless N VPN Firewall Routers. Gives allot of capabilities (including physical subnetting) in an inexpensive unit.

Untangle is our first choice, as...we strongly recommend (and believe in) a UTM for businesses....over a plain NAT router. They have small <25 network devices with built in wireless now.

When the client does not want to have a UTM (like...super poor budget)....we had been using the Linksys LRT224 devices, but also have been loving Ubiquiti Edge Routers. I actually prefer them...just set them up, and forget them. Never a need to reboot..those things can run under load for years and years without needing a reboot.

Datto recently got into the router market....doing failover routers..the Datto DNA. (since Datto is about business continuity)..so they have built in 4G failover.
