On the subject of being a big liar, what's your justification for the false testimonials and fake Five Star awards, you seem to have omitted that from your latest rant?

These are the only reviews I can find for you and they don't make very flattering reading. The only comments not written by you are from a very disgruntled & bone fide competitor. Maybe they're jealous too?

It's a interesting marketing technique to completely change your business name when the original apparently proved so successful, from my experience, having a localised business name greatly increases your ranking in Google local.
Edit: Isn't the domain name "computerrepairalfreton" more localised than "Chesterfieldpcrepair" et al. ? :confused:

2- Chesterfield pc support is my legal business name and it was a mistake to choose local town name for my business but since i cover cities near by instead of puting my business name only assosiet with the local town name, i start using initals wich is CPS Computer services (Chesterfield PC Support)

3- A & B Is my new / second business i started and why CPS? because i didnt want to integrate yet with my new shop business and it is my and my partner initials.( I DIDNT WANT TO MAKE SAME MISTAKE AND CHOOSING LOCAL BUSINESS NAME).
and A & B is not home based business!!! it is brand new decorated 60sm premises!!!

4-look carefully and you will find my feedbacks out there and did you know if you had only 1 positive feedback that makes you 5 star till you get more negative ones? thats why i have every right to display that!! furthermore did you know i saw this idea from a technician who wrote on this forum as a advice? did you know atleast 3 tech. i know and member of this forum uses same logo?? is it illegal? againts the law? do you own the trade mark? I mean whats your problem man??? Am i spamming again?

5- I belived i can help others more by sharing business site more than technical. whats wrong been interesting how to rise business rather than trying to help with technical issues?? i always say lets get some business first and deal with the technical difficulities of it after and than there will be to many to help him here since we all technicians!!

9- You are manupilating everything by linking my old threats! i am still behind of what i have writen on thoose old threads but i am in diferent level now and my business and ideas along with my experiences shaping diferent than last year. yes i almost double my business since. Why you so upset about it? i just saw your negative comments on my other threats too.. Why you doing this? Business no good? or is it some personal problems? come on share with us.

so a few sites for local towns, a main corporate site w/ 800 (toll free) number... seems like a good idea to me :-)

How does 14 websites look more personal? If a customer sees that many sites, they are likely to think it is a big company. If you want to seem personal, then don't make yourself look larger than you are. Keep it simple.

What I would do is go ahead and make the 14 sites, one for each town, then just have subdomains for them and have them forward to the website. That way it's just one website with multiple URLs and it won't seem like a big company. That would be more personal.

Sorry if my opinion of this differs from everyone. But when I'm looking for a service, I avoid the big companies. If I see a bunch of ads, either on the net or the yellow pages, I think they are big and won't use them. This is just my opinion, your welcome to your own.
 
Have you posted anything about how you do the SEO on your sites? If not can you I would like to know more? Congrats on your success:)

Simple. Make a bunch of different websites that all cross link each other. Spam forums.

Sorry, in all seriousness, there are tons of how to articles online. I would start by checking Google's own SEO articles.

Add the proper meta tags with descriptions, keywords, etc.

Use the H tags with keywords. Don't spam your own page with keywords, Google will ignore those.

Use the keywords in the proper context in your page.

Have your title include the main keywords, but again, don't just list them.

Go to all the online directories you can find like Yellow pages and similar, post your free listing with a link back to your site.

Add your URL to the signature of your forum accounts. This creates a ton of backlinks.

Post some relevant blog articles at various places online that include a back link to your page.

Create a local business listing in Google

Get people to leave feedback at the Google listing (Don't fake them)

Add a robots.txt to your www directory

Make sure your code is all correct and standardized. There are sites that will grade your site.

Use Google Analytics to monitor your traffic to give you feedback on what's working.

Make sure all of your images on your site include the ALT tag and use keywords in the description.


That's a good start. There are a lot more too.

Wow thats a hell of a start, alot more than I knew. Do you think certain types of sites are better for this stuff like a wordpress site vs, an html one? I didn't want to turn to google for something like this and get skewed results I like actual facts from someone who has done it and measured its results and is not motivated to sell me something. dominexsus is this what you have done?

If you type in computer repair newyork you dont get web sites designed for california do you? and as a technician you would do research unlogigly on the net but person who need to get hes laptop repair wouldnt do that. If you read about SEO than you may get the reason why i did that.

Its simple each site appears for the person who make the search closer to area by typing area name and adding computer or laptop repair word in the end. what part of this is not easy to understand? ?

Its like math yee if you have 1 website appears in one town you get your business from that town only and thats only if they use search engine and trust me no metter how big is the town single source never enough but if you have first position google with 15 towns than you have greater chance.

And if you search (x) town on the engine you not going to get (y) town since (y) town is not been SEO as the (x) town keywords. therefore chance to get discover by same person that you have many sites is to low. if you have a slight general knowlidge about SEO i am sure you will know what i mean.

I'm not trying to tell you anything. Don't get so defensive over it. If it works for you, great. I just get the impression of a larger company, that's all I'm saying.

Using your newyork/california example, I'm not saying that a "big company" has to be a national one. I'm just saying that in a small area, such as mine, if someone had a website for each of the surrounding communities, then a google search for my town and that service would not only give me the webpage for my town but all the other ones as well. I'd end up with the first 14 results being the same company with a different looking page. There just ins't the competition here to only show just the one site for that particular community you searched for.

No, the use of templates doesn't mean anything. Google doesn't look at the page like you or I would. It doesn't see the end result. It sees the visible text and the meta tags.

Sory but i dont know any town names in USA. i live in uk. did you look in to my sites? part from one of them non of them has impretion of the big company. Honestly i am not deffencive at all! i know i am not sound it positive but i can not accept things mentioned without thinking carefully on it! i know its wrong but thats me.

One last time; 3 of my site can be appear same search with in the search engine and they where my first 3 web sites. after those sites i decided to optimise each page to make sure they dont apear for same keyword. saying that even they apear same search results i never had problem pulling more custumer from them. try to think like a person who has a problem with the pc, unless you dont have enough money in your pocket or looking for the cheapest of the cheapest you wouldnt look company page after page and honestly i wouldnt want him as a customer anyway.

If you type a town name by adding pc repair related keyword why would you get my other website not optimised for that town? it is simple! it will not!! no search engines would do that! otherwise there will be no search engines exist! How ever if you saying someone will search not by keyword but the company name? Who would do that? and why would they do that? are they normal type of customers? and if than no problem only hand full of people would do that lets say %3 to %5 and i am willing to loose half of them wich is %1 to %3 if that? and while geting a lot more jobs it is ok to loose few of the fish from the net.
