Hi everyone!

I have a macbook pro i just purchased for school and my deskop computer which runs windows vista. Both computers are hooked up to my DSL line through a wireless router. My desktop is connected to the router via a network cable and the Macbook through wireless.

My dilema is that i have no experience setting up a network so i need some help on what i need to do. I just want to setup file sharing so i can transfer my school stuff from my laptop to my desktop and vice versa. The wireless modem is wpa2 protected and set to private network .I looked on Google for an answer and came up empty.

Also my Macbook Pro runs OSX 10.5.8.
and my Destop is running Windows Vista Ultimate Sp2

Any help is would be great!

Thank You,

Emiljan

So far i only have turned on file sharing on both computers and i have tried to connect to my mac through vista but no such luck, so i tried to connect to my desktop through osx but no luck there either. Then i tried to see if vista would try to recognize my macbook as a wireless device and no such luck.

I found out how to do it thanks some more searching on Google. For anyone else interested here is the link:
