Wireless access help

Am I correct in thinking you can have a wireless router setup as a bridge and have a wireless access point in another location (without Cat5 between them) and share an internet connection. If I am wrong, is there another way to go about extending the wireless without running cable? Thanks

Routers with the DD-WRT firmware installed do an excellent job.

Thats what I thought, but I couldn't find anything online about it. I will find out tomorrow exactly what I'm dealing with. Thanks for the help.

Look for routers that support WDS. There are few that do and don't have require a special firmware.
