Windows updates may break outook

After a few windows updates this week i have had a few customers that outlook failed to open after applying updates this is the fix.

in run bar type:
outlook.exe /resetnavpane

Had the same problem last week and fixed it that way

Have not been in the office for a couple of days. Fired up my desktop and had 15 XP updates. As the computer is updating, I jumped on here and read this thread.....I live on Outlook, thanks for the heads up

Edit: Just as an update, had no issues updating a Windows XP machine running Outlook 2003.
