Over the weekend I reset both of my PC's (laptop and desktop) and signed in using my O365 account. Everything is now set back up 100% and working, except that I cannot connect to my office PC via RDP from my iPad.
I am using the Microsoft RDP app. I have a VPN to my office setup and I can get to the login screen. The problem is no matter what I do, I get a bad password error in the event viewer.
I have tried AzureAD\username, AzureAD\email.com both with using the Windows Hello PIN number and using the O365 password without success. I have tried taking the AzureAD\ away also without success.
I made a registry edit changing the NLA security level to 0 from 2 and that allowed me to get to the login screen but still says the passwords are all incorrect. I do have 2FA on my account so I am wondering if an App password is the way to go here. From the reading I have been doing, it looks like this setup may not allow RDP from the iPad any longer even though both are Microsoft products, which is a shame because I do use that feature quite a bit.
Has anyone set this up successfully?
