Windows 8 the most unintuitive OS to date

While, it this may have changed in IE10, IE has always been the red headed step child in the web programming and web browser world. Its he most insecure and poorly written web browser that has ever existed (that might be a slight exaggeration). In any case, unless IE10 is way safer than firefox or chrome, I will never suggest it to my customers.

On the note of virus removals. While they are obviously great for business, I still think its a mistake to even create and mass produce such an insecure operating system. I am not one of those techs who rejoices over the fact that my customers got a virus. I am not one of those techs that sell crappy AV so that they come back in a matter of months. I am one of those techs who will sell the best AV (for the customer) possible, so that the chances of them coming back for a virus removal is slim.

So do I rejoice that Microsoft is producing another insecure piece of crap OS for the masses to use and pay for more virus removals. No. Sorry.

Finally, its no longer enough to play it safe and not do stupid crap online. People need to be educated and have good protection on their computers.

SOMEWHAT off topic, but I'm using Windows 8 right now and it is hands down the fastest OS that I've run on this computer. The installation took a bit longer then normal (not a big deal) but the overall performance of the OS feels snappier and very responsive; websites all seem to render a lot smoother. Instead of loading in fragments like some browsers all websites seem to load instantly in one large lumpsome. The task manager is much more user friendly which is also a huge plus. The way how the OS handles programs is also amazing; if you look at the task manager any program that isn't getting used is paused. Microsoft has gone a long way as far as making Windows more hardware friendly (I've ran it on lower end machines). I don't understand why this is so frequently overlooked but from what I've seen MacOs is generally a more hardware intensive OS then windows is.
