Windows 8.1 Out?

Upgraded three machines so far. To get it to display in the store, make sure you run the general windows updates first. For some reason if general updates need to be installed, the upgrade option for 8.1 doesn't show in the store.

Paul what broadband speed do you have? I generally find the upgrade takes around 90 minutes to two hours depending on the machine.

I really like 8.1, it fixes a hell of a lot of things I hated with 8.

I really like 8.1, it fixes a hell of a lot of things I hated with 8.

Normally around 3-5 hours I get around 3-4mb. Due to get fibre next year in this area.

Still have "Incompatible" extensions in IE 11

Following up on my previous post:

At the direction of Kaspersky, I did the following with negative results:

- Uninstalled/Re-installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2014 (KIS)
- Uninstalled MalwareBytes (MBAM)
- Uninsalled/reinstalled KIS (again)

I finally gave up. I need MBAM and KIS. I only use IE when Chrome and Firefox don't work.

I have to conclude that IE 11 and the add-ins I listed earlier are simply incompatible.
