Windows 10 Now Warns Users Not to Install Chrome or Firefox

So it's basically the same prompt you got before when setting Chrome or Firefox to the default browser just on steroids.

Edge is actually starting to really look good in the latest builds. It actually has some potential.
Are you a real technician lol.

I think because it comes installed by default they have kind of put feature improvements aside figuring they didn't have to do anything.

I hide it really well. Never uninstall because I think there are other dependencies (never really bothered looking for them) that IE11 still uses. Not sure if it's in Windows 10 or not, but windows 7 probably.

I always install Chrome for the customer, help them migrate their **** from IE or whatever and install ublock, setup the config for them and say look. with Chrome and Emsisoft and ublock installed.. You need to be pretty bad if you get any sort of nasty coming through. And if you bank online, this is your best bet. They never look back.

If (less tech savvy) clients want IE they get Chrome with the icon changed to the IE icon and the home page set to Google!
I just tell them its the latest "update!"
After all, when you ask them to open a browser, they look at you with that rabbit in headlights look and say "you mean you want me to open Google?"

Looks like Microsoft did a U-turn on the whole thing... good job Internet!

I keep trying Edge, but the damn thing can't display *many* websites correctly, or at all - producing full "White pages" of no text or image.
Sometimes forms do not work correctly. Recently, filling out a form on a website fully, then clicking the "Submit" button has no effect, no form submission. Works just fine in Chrome or Firefox.

Seems like a lot of the crap that IE dealt with is in EDGE, too.. I need my browser to consistently and correctly display Webpages - if It can't do that, I have no use for it.
