KB4565351 does not install by itself for some reason you would think that a critical security update would be pushed but most machines that came in did not have it installed also my personal machines did not install it either even after large number of startups and shutdowns.

This patch contains a large number of security fixes but only seems to install if you manually check for updates.

It installed on two of my machines yesterday (or I should say overnight, as it was there in the morning and asking me for a restart). I know I didn't do a check for updates at all prior to the install.

Also remember that all updates, including critical ones, roll out. Critical updates generally roll out over a period of a couple of days, but they still are not pushed to every Windows 10 machine in the world all at once. Those days are over, thank heaven, because it allows Microsoft to pick up on issues that may not have occurred in their own test bed or for the Insiders once an update "goes into the wild" and lands on all sorts of hardware. It is no longer possible for Microsoft to test on every platform that can and does run Windows 10, and it hasn't been possible even before Windows 10 existed.

All of my units have installed this month's rollup on schedule as configured. A few are still pending restart, because the users are goobs but otherwise everything is normal.
