OMG...mIRC...brings back memories.

Back in the dial up days, our Quake 1 clan (YeOldeMelankees) used to use it...had a room called #pookem (Yes, our clan was named after Clockwork Orange...and every member had a "YeOlde" in front of their name). As you can see...mine stuck! Because my original name before Quake 1 and clans was "Stonecat"...from my college days.

It makes me laugh every time someone mentions IRC and I recall the hours lost typing away in this silly chat client.

Already at version 4.0 by 1996... this thing predates the Internet as we know it... and I wonder how many people really understand that.
