Which laptop do you use for work?

I use whatever free laptop I get from recycle or abandoned computers in my fix it shop. I'v never bought a laptop for myself or my business other than as inventory to be resold. My current and last three laptops have all been Duel core 2 gig, 2 or 4 gig mem.

I don't take laptops out to clients sites of work as it is too hard on them and I am not that concerned with treating them softly.

I use whatever they buy me or whatever a vendor loans us.

Right now, I have some tablet thing from HP with an i5 and 8 GB of RAM on loan until august 15th... By then, I am sure HP (or Dell) will loan my department another... This is what happens when you order thousands of computers and are setup with a rep.

I'm using Desktop but really planning to have a netbook soon.. just hoping.. :)

I use an old 15.4" Compaq Presario with Linux Mint. It's a workhorse and gets bashed about a bit, but it's been very reliable. I do a lot of wireless setups, and it's good to have a basic machine to test with. I tell clients if this old beast can connect successfully than anything can. I've tried using an EeePC, but I find them too small to work with comfortably.

I use a HP Pavilion g6 as my personal laptop I use for work. Though I still prefer the dual monitor desktop they provide at work.

Using an ASUS Eee 1001PXD, upped it to 2gb of memory from the 1gb it came with stock and currently running it with Joli OS / Linux Mint / Win 7. It gets the job done. :D

I have an old HP Compaq laptop, hopefully soon I will be getting a newer laptop. It will be an HP as that is what the company buys.

i have a D630 and a Asus 1005HA netbook. although i am finding that i rarely take them to a customer site. at a customer site i pretty much rely solely on my ipad.

Dell Studio 5100. 4GB Ram running Vista Home Premium 64bit. Also have Linux Mint 11 on here but rarely use. I got 2 good batteries with it, each lasts about 3.5 hours so it'll last for 2 full service calls each. It's been very good to me.
