hi
i got a customer it is a company with 15 computers.
and the owner want to watch all the computer what they are doing , if they are working or not etc. ( i know somebody will say well block all the bad sites or waste timers)
but that is nt the case , this guy wants to do this.
i found many like employee desktop live viewer , spyagent , pandora, NetObserve , etc.

i would like if somebody has some experience with some FREEWARE or cheap software to do the job.

ps: owner does nt care about recording what they do. And he wants to watch it from his house sometimes others from his company.

thank you in advance.

Because this is a commercial environment, I disagree with selling any kind of freeware, especially when you clearly need a program that is full featured. If the one program another member pointed out is 'too hard', clearly you need a piece of software that was engineered for ease of use, which will be something commercially available and probably have a decent price tag.

Clients that specify cheap or free alternatives generally become problematic as your professional relationship progresses. A technician that wants to pawn off freeware for a price is just as problematic to a business owner.

I agree a commercial solution may be better -- Netop MyVision is free, you just have to make sure you're downloading the right one. If I remember it actually might be a trial of the full version at first but then converts to the free (less featured) after, either way I don't think it nagged.

I think if you’re looking for a software that is free it is hard to find it. There are tools that are free but you cannot fully use its features. There are some that has trail period only I think there are tools that are worth the price to use.

I find this Spy tool that is a desktop live viewer and I think It fits on your needs. It provides a live view of remote desktop activities of employees. It also has different features that is useful it can record both online and offline. All activities are recorded and save in .avi file video format.

You can also check this article for more alternatives. This article discusses more information about monitoring software and its features.

Might be difficult to find freeware that will do ALL of that. But iTalc does some of it. Works pretty well & the price is right.

The best software is NONE. This will only create a hostile work environment. If I was the owner, I would NOT monitor what my employees are doing and look at all their screens...

that said, You beat me too it... We used to use this in computer labs when I worked in a School District. It was not hard at all to make work except the Wake On LAN setup because it didn't auto-detect the MAC addresses.

If you want something easier, Syncroneyes ... but it is expensive.
