Congratulations Dom!

It has been a bit slow in the shop today - Holidays and all.
Had an elderly lady pick up a system for her friend that had a stoke and couldn't get out. It's a very very blustery day in Ohio and her thoughtfulness put a smile on my face.

Nice one dom.

My bit of good news. Our local mag, is doing an article on my bus, and myself. Ye gods!. Told they will be taking pics, so need to drastic clean the workshop and soon!. Lol

Ok, since we're in General Chat: Yesterday I smiled . . no grinned from ear to ear . . over one of these:

After spending way too much time trying and failing to drill holes in my concrete floor (to fasten a door sill with concrete screws) my father in law came over with one of those.

Stick a concrete nail into the end, a 22 blank in the middle and strike the top with a hammer. Goes off like a gun and the board is nailed to the concrete leaving nothing to do but shake the ringing out of your ears. Half a dozen booms and maybe 10 minutes later I was finished.

I wondered if any neighbor would report the gunfire coming from my garage on Thanksgiving morning, but no cops showed up so I guess no one thought anything of it!

I've got one of those that I've used for years. This summer, helping my brother with his new house, I saw my dad had one that was activated by a trigger - just hold and pull the trigger - BANG - and it was up. Easier than using the hammer, and more accurate!

I'm sure the wife has one of those hidden away somewhere. I might ask to borrow it. [emoji6] .... Or am I getting confused again.

My kids make me smile everyday. But today my daughter heads off to drill for the weekend for national guard. Proud daddy!

The shop is as clean as it's ever been in a long time. Taking advantages of the lull in business.

2 new clients have sent in positive reviews on my google my business account.
It's great when people appreciate what you do for them :)

Regards,
