Website Redesign Critique

I just finished redesigning my new website. Please let me know your thoughts. What's the most that you like as well as the least that you like.

How's the navigation flow and what errors do you find?

no comments? I guess that the site is right in the middle where it's not too ugly nor too fancy

Nice site you have there mate.

One thing I would change, would be remove the 'Enter Computer Services' and 'Enter Hosting Services' buttons, and make the pictures the links.

Yes nice. A couple of things I would have the phone number at the top of the home page, right hand side. Also the Open a Ticket and Call Us big pictures should be a hyperlink, I didn't see the buttons below immediately. Also if you go the the Contact Us section there is no way to get back to the home page if you click the Open a Ticket button.

I wasn't sure about making the images hyperlinks but it seems like it makes it easier to click the images. I will change them.

The header should have the tel number, I agree. It was in the to do list but I forgot

Personally, I would get rid of the images completely and get some more text on the page. Something to feed the spiders!


Also, this doesn't read right to me:

Looks good. Personally I don't like the black background at the top of the page though - its gives it a drab feeling.

BTW..... I found some of my old HI 8's from in my Navy days. Not sure what's on them if anything. Give me some details regarding your privacy policy and I might send them to you for conversion. One of them may have a video involving an oriental style massage in the Philippines that I don't want ending up on Youtube.

Here's the form with the privacy policy. http://orca-technology.com/computerservices/dvdform.pdf we transfer home made videos from your tape to the DVD. That's all the process.

that's a problem with the navigation bar. I'm using CSS but I'll add that to the "to do list".

I'm glad you like it

The username and password fields were designed to access a web portal to make payments, see payments history, download specific software, create a ticket for support and re-order products or services.

This is a great idea, I was thinking about doing something like this.

Did you use a specific piece of software to implement this onto the site?

I'm using whmcs, I highly recommend it. whmcs is a billing and support solution. It's intended to be used for hosting companies but I also use it for the computer repair part.

Once you understand how it work it's very simple. Try the demo in their website. I forgot to mention the most important thing, customer service. These guys answer all your question in minutes. They're very helpful. In addition, they charge for installation or implementation if you want and the prices are very affordable.

Nice site....just one thing...when you click to computer services there isn't a home link to get back to your home page. Also when you click in Hosting Services the Home link doesn't take move...it keeps you on the Hosting Services page. Just my thoughts...

The first time I designed the site it was confusing and useless to have everything connected (all services in one place). People interested in getting their pc fix were not interested in hosting and the opposite.

However, clicking the logo takes you to the home page always. I might use a link at the very bottom to go to the home page.

I like the layout; it's clean, easy to navigate and straight to the point, not over done or crowded.
One thing I did notice navigating from Hosting to Web Design; you still have "per month" listed as a part of the web design pricing. Not sure if that was intentional ...

Over-all the site looks Great!
