Yes I am goiong to dissasemble it tommorow to see if I can find anything notible within the panel. As their is no electrical interferance, it is just that I have three identical monitors. None of the others are affected had noticed it for a few days as was playing a game though thought it was an effect of the game. That's pretty weird. I am assuming that the monitor was OK yesterday or a few days prior and now, very recently it's not?
To me, it looks like a component in the monitor could have gone bad, smoked-out and damaged the plastic light-diffusion layer(s). It looks like hot smoke, to me. Water damage seems unlikely as you would likely see other evidence of such.
No not a chance the monitors are on a tri monitor arm, it does not look like a liquid issue to me.Any possibility of liquid getting into the monitor?
In almost all fluid issues the problems start at the edges. I've done that to myself years ago. Wasn't paying attention and sprayed the screen instead of the cloth. Dribbled down and promptly entered on the bottom.Any possibility of liquid getting into the monitor?
Yea it has mate 40+ Degrees, maybe that is it good call.I still think it's a separation of the layers of the screen. (As I alluded to above, in a roundabout sort of way)
Has it been hot in Melbourne?
If "kitty" did spray it you would see evidence on the desk, not just the monitor.
Maybe condensation after high humidity then high room temp.40+ Degrees
Yes where my PC is located it is near the faulty monitor. With a 3080 it can get really warm and loud so this may be this cause. The air setup in my system has intake fan at rear, two fans as outtake at the top and due to the the 3080 radiator comes in. Cabling length does not really allow for me to put it anywhere else.Maybe condensation after high humidity then high room temp.
