Greetings,
I recently discovered that Vista's feature I like, shadow copies is only available for ultimate and business. The odd thing is that the service runs on all versions.
I came across an utility, free and it appears to be clean of spyware, virus etc.
I tested in Vista Home Premium and it works. Of course since I tested the MVS and Vista Clean Up utility it wiped my restore copies.
I enabled system restore and created a few restore points. I launched shadow explorer and for every restore point you have it shows your in an explorer style window all the files.
I search this site and it has not been mentioned before (unless I made a mistake searching)
Why would you need this if you can restore from a backup?
Well, if a user want to restore a file or two it will be much easier and faster..
This may be a worthy mention as a tool of the week
