I thought they did proper research but the tdp's and prices are wrong on some cards no to mention they tested pcie-4 cards on pcie-3 board test would be more accurate on a pcie-4 board.
Lots of video benchmarks have been done this way by Nvidia reviewers i have done my own testing and found new AMD cards fps higher than their benchmark on pcie-4 boards.
I have also looked at other articles they favor Intel over AMD where AMD clearly wins because you can stick a ryzen 3000 chip on a board much cheaper than 9900k he also claims pcie-4 has no effect on gaming which is BS because i have done my own benchmarks the AMD pcie-4 video cards perform better and the pcie-4 NVME load games faster.
