I have 3 WCB6200 network extenders that only occasionally give out IPs. My phone sometimes get one, my laptop I havent been able to connect.

I restarted all 3 access points and the issue remains.

After further investigation only the 2.4 GHz network isn't giving out IPs (The 5 GHz is working)
Anyone have any suggestions?

Actiontec suuuuuuuuxxxxxx. Every router I ever got from Verizon had problems or developed problems within the first year or two.

I agree with the "extender" name-clause. If it isn't mesh, it probably isn't going to work well.

The equipment provided by ISP's is usually pretty bad. As in low quality components. How long have you had these setup? My experience with retail level components is they typically last 2-3 years and then start having problems. Especially WiFi. Have you looked to see if there is a firmware update?

I agree with avoiding "extenders"...plus trying to learn and support all brands (including junky ones).

BUT...for starters, if it worked before, one reason that may have caused the recent issues is another neighboring wifi stepping on the toes of the limited 2.4 spectrum, OR...another device nearby in this home/office...doing the same thing. Cordless phone, microwave, wireless mouse/keyboard, blue tooth devices, etc. Maybe do a site survey and see what's there.

Additionally, proposing a better system.
