I recently setup a Vantec Nexstar LX NAS for my client and while it works great for them, their POS software doesn't work for multiple concurrent connections. The company data stores on the shared drive and first user can open the data fine, 2nd user trying to open the same file it complains some data couldn't be read.
But if the data is being read from a shared Windows drive (i.e. XP Pro), both can open the same data file just fine.
Could it be the NAS not allowing concurrent connections more than one? Any other NAS out there can do a better job than Vantec?
Appreciate your inputs.
