Just wondering if anyone else out there selling refurbished desktops would care to share where they are finding their best prices on systems and what price point you are selling them at. I've found a couple of places with decent prices but once they hit you with the shipping your halfway to a new system. I find most people looking to buy a used system are looking for the lowest price possible before mark up. Just curious what everyone else is doing.

check any local universities/colleges for surplus sales. I know our local universities have them once a month and they are decent systems.

The county where I live sells some systems as surplus to the public occasionally. I've heard of other City/County/State govts doing the same. Not always the highest tech, but decent enough to cheaply upgrade.

Ditto Here. Ours opens once per week and has 19" Flat Pannel Monitors $25, P4 Dual Core with a GB Ram around $50, etc.

Another great place is govdeals.com. Most local govt are not allowed to use ebay, this is where they list pallets of PC's for online auction.
