Can a mini laptop that came with Windows 7 Starter be updated with Windows 10 (Home) 32 Bit.
The mini has 2 gig RAM and a 250Gb SSD (plenty of room). I am getting mixed answers. Any input on this.

Yes but, I wouldn't spend the clients money on it. I would yank the SSD out of it and put it in a better computer.
Since you did not post the processor specs it might not be possible anyway.
Also if possible (processor compatibility) I would also upgrade the ram.

And off topic, Where have you been hiding since 2011?

The CPU is a 1.86 Ghz Intel Atom. I just bumped the RAM in it up to 4gig (3.2 available), using an old stick I had laying around. I am looking at this project for a old lady who barley does much with it.

Atom? It'll be slow as molasses on a winter day. On the other hand those types of users aren't bothered by things like that.

It runs pretty well under 7, and 10 is supposed to be more streamlined. So then its just will it take the upgrade/update.

The Atom D510 and D525 with SSD equipped and 4gb of RAM don't do too badly... but yeah, you need to know what Atom you're working with, and if it doesn't have 64bit support toss it.
