Has anyone had experience with this?
Client ordered a Dell Precision M4800 with the default LCD screen which only does 1366x768 rather than the 1920x1080 screen.
Has anyone replaced it with the 1920x1080 screen? (Without any additional parts?) It appears this model comes with 3 choices of a video card and each one is a 2Gb card, not on-board graphics except the Intel graphics via the i7-.4810MQ cpu. Both video drivers are installed - Intel's and Nvidias K1100m.
I have one of these units which has the Ultrasharp FHD LED (LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, 15.6FHD, WLED, AG, LEGEND) whereas this one has the HD FHD (LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, 15.6HDF, AG, EDP, INX)
I've made contact with laptopscreen.com and asked them but they don't get involved with upgrades.... (they aren't techs)
Can anyone help?
