Ubiquiti kit recommendation

I need to do a point to point link over a distance of approximately 400m. I'd like to use Ubiquiti kit if possible. I'm just wondering which equipment to choose?

There will only be a single PC and a DVR at the remote end both uploading data to a server in the main building so I'd like as much bandwidth as possible. I have about €1k budget for the equipment.
 
You got good line of site?
Looking into the airMax area...assuming 400 megs if fine for you, the IsoStation AC or NanoBeam AC.
The NanoBeam would be my first choice...Iso has a few different antennas you can slap on depending on purpose but it has one good antenna to isolate your signal in case you're in a crowded radio environment.

I assume I need one of these at each end of the link and then ethernet back to the closest switch?

There's zero traffic locally. It's right out in the country. Line of sight is 100%.
 
The 5AC-16-Gen2 would be my first choice...the Gen2's have improved management, dedicated CPU for it, can do functions without taking the radios offline for production.
I like the clean shape of the Nanobeam...smooth, rounded surface. Not able to be disturbed by much. Still darned cheap.
The Iso model...is better if you're in a crowded radio environment, due to that deeper funnel shaped dish.
The Litebeam is dirt cheap, but I'd only use it if it was in a good protected area. Where we do most of our setups, around marinas, campgrounds, and points to points from buildings..we're along the shoreline, so...lots of big birds like seagulls that like to get on everything. Plus stronger winds, sometimes hurricanes. So..if you look at the Litebeam, the shape of it's winged flat dish...you'll see why I don't use it for the environment around me, I consider it too fragile. If you can shelter it...protect it..go for it. But..the price of hardware to do that can offset it's lower price.
 
Just to be safe do you know how many cameras they have and what spec they are? CCTV can really eat bandwidth at higher resolutions.

For example:

16x Cameras
All 5MP
Recording at 15FPS

This could easily use over 300Mb/s of bandwidth

Theoretical max of 5AC-16 under perfect conditions is 450Mb/s.. so expect <400 in the real world.
 
I second the nanobeam recommendation. We’ve used them for a number of setups very similar to this and they work great. We’ve also used the litebeams a couple of times without any issues. But stone makes a good point about them having the more dish-like shape that can cause problems in certain scenarios. They’re also a bit larger than the nanobeams.
