TSMAN 2010 / Version 3....if it arrives

Well we are sick of waiting so have started looking at other options.
PC Repair Tracker is looking like the one so far unless the TS Man update is released in the next week or so!
 
Still no sign of it. i thought I was joking when I said he'd changed the name from 2010 to v3 because it wouldn't be out in 2010 but it appears to be true.

Still seems to be dodging any questions about when it will be out.
 
The comments on the TSMan forum are quite unbelievable to be honest. It turns out there are programming problems and the author is still not giving ANY indication when it might be done. I.e. it's not even finished.

The excuse why there has been scant information other than misleading hints that it's just around the corner is now "the architecture and implementation of stock management is what I like to call "ground-breaking". Revealing the steps of the development will cause damage to Blanchesoft and of course advantage to competition, some of which have armies of developers at their disposal."

Righty then - so there are scores of vulture-like competitors in the high-stakes marketplace for basic technician databases all hovering around waiting to see what the geniuses at Blanchesoft do next before they swoop in and steal the bleeding-edge development.....somehow I don't think so.

If there is anything positive to take out of it, it's a lesson on how NOT to treat customers. Zero PR skills going down there.
 
I see the ts man v3 forum has disappeared totally now :-)

Edit: I see they have deactivated my user account on the forum too, ha ha.

Yeah I regret buying TSMan now after this shabby episode.

You never know, maybe the new version will come out eventually and maybe it'll have been worth the wait. But it's going to take a lot to erase the memory of the shoddy treatment of customers and the attitude in general.

I bought it long time ago, and I never once asked for any support.
Not that I didn't have any problems, but I found answer in the forum or sorted it out by myself.
What was exactly your experience with them?
 
I'm referring to the the new version sage - ie. what this thread is about.

Support for problem with the current version has been fine.
