As the title states a user has one 365 account and I have setup a seperate account for the business. I need to transfer the personal folders from one to another as the user has changed positions in the business, so needs a different address hope it makes sense.

Cheers!

I don't have a setup here to actually test this out, but my recollection is that OneDrive itself (the client) can and does handle connecting to as many different Microsoft Accounts as you need it to, and that on the machine where that's in place, you can copy/move data between the individual OneDrive accounts in the same way as you do between, say, the local hard drive and OneDrive or between Google Drive and OneDrive. Each "logged in instance" should show up as its own folder hierarchy in File Explorer and behave just like any other drive would.

Onerive only or is SharePoint in the mix. You should be able to give r/w privs for the old user on the new user. You could also log into the new account using a private/incognito page and upload from the subject machine.

@britechguy s recollection is correct.

OneDrive is multi-tenant capable...it can connect to many different Microsoft accounts at the same time. File Explorer will reflect this....you'll have the "Personal" OneDrive connected (latest versions have a gray cloud icon)..and you'll clearly see the "365 Business" account connected..it will have the blue cloud icon..and most importantly to make it very clear...it will state the tenant business name...so you will be able to easily, 100%, know which "OneDrive" folders are which.

Now it's just a matter of "copy and paste" within file explorer.
