I don't have the computers in front of me yet but, The customer wants to transfer everyting from their old Mac LT to their new Mac LT. I have done this several times using a time machine backup and the migration assistant.
However, in this case the user wants it to be in a different profile. The reason being is the profile on the old comptuer is actually her sisters name as at one time the computer was hers before the current user got it. I know on a PC I use fabs and do this all the time during the restore process just choose the appropriate usernames and no issues. I have never done this on a Mac before.
So for example
Old Mac (Jamie) to New Mac (Samantha)
Is there an easy way to do this with Migration Assistant or am I stuck manually copying and pasting files and folders?
