TP LINK AV500 PoE Issue

I am using a TP LINK AV500 PoE in a business site. I regularly use these devices never had any issues before.
The PoE is installed in a rear office - the main point is off a router inside the main office - on same circuit etc.

The issue is the network is detected - internet access it states but there is no DNS?
There is a DNS listed as the Gateway address?


It is connected to a Win10 system the network states 'PRIVATE'.

I have tried the usual

• Reset winsock
• Manually add DNS servers

@Barcelona you mentioned something in another post about a possible Network Type error fix, which might help.

I am goin back tomorrow morning with my own laptop to rule out possible system issue.

You could also try NetAdapterRepair AIO from WRT. Tick all the boxes and click run all the fixes.

EDIT: Still no luck - internet access but cant browse

Ended up ditching the PoE and used another switch, all good. So I have a 10 port switch running from 2 ports from inside patched into the 3 offices. Another switch had to be installed as is only x2 Ethernet ports in one of the offices and is running x2 PC's and a networked printer.

An electrician is coming to the business this week to install another patch panel as current is full. The owner wanted me to do it, I looked at it and said politely no. So managed to network the rear office, mapped it all for future reference [ since I.T whom installed it failed to.]
