Think you know Outlook? Take my quiz

Hmm. 81% I might quibble that knowing the features of GSyncit (something I haven't needed in my years of supporting Outlook) is a bit off topic.... Also, Although i got this question right by eliminating obvious wrong answers, I would disagree with the answer to the question about which DNS records to be conerned with when doing an exchange migration? What? I am NOT bitter! :D

haha, some of the questions may be correct, but not precise, something like that. A few techs have tried to go to battle with me and my argument stands. The quiz is right! :D

Oh dear!
Hey @Kraken you and I will have to go to the pub for a pint/pot/midi/schooner/stubbie (or whatever you guys have there) and talk about what we should do to improve our "skilz" lol.
My result was a shocker :confused:

We threw in a couple outlook/exchange type questions but I may end up removing them as it's not only Outlook. I am adding on more for the "bonus round" and these I am writing myself and they will be brutal

ahem Lisa thst quiz was bloody hard enough. especially with my dismal score. how about something easier please x

hmm, let me talk to Brad. Maybe we can do a 3 level quiz. I know a guy that took it got 4 wrong and he argued with me on all 4. lol

Here is an, example of a bonus question.

Client calls in and is using 4 email accounts in Outlook, all 4 are in IMAP -Gmail, Yahoo, AOL and Outlook.com. She has a calendar, contacts on her phone and they are not syncing with her Outlook. She has an android and an iPad. What is the best free synchronizing program for her to use.

I got at least 50% of them wrong. but in saying that I have never used exchange, my clients don't use it. so have never seen a need to even look at it. yet alone for a quiz.

That's good for you to know that supporting Outlook is not one of your strong points. The point of the quiz is for people to take it and realize if they want to support it better, they need training or not support it and find someone else. That quiz could have over 1000 questions easy in the bank. Brad wants to do something like that for it and I don't want to but he thinks this is so unique, it might be worth it. I am not sure...but we are going slow. I like the 3 level quiz idea though.

It is claiming answers are wrong on questions I know are correct. Themes for example. The answer is File>Options which is what I selected and it has a big red X. ???

That person doesn't need a sync program, they need a life coach. :p

75.9 here, but with a couple of stupid mistakes like only checking 1 of "pick 2"

I've also never even tried to connect anyone's GMail to Outlook - if they're going to use GMail, just use GMail - so questions on that were outside my experience.

Ok, this the one? I won't say the answer but it's not the one you said. I don't know what this means?

Sorry, @nlinecomputers , in Outlook 2016, you change the theme by selecting File / Office Account. There is a theme drop-down in the upper-left portion of the screen. BTW, I also choose File/Options in the quiz and missed that question...I have never once changed the theme in an Outlook installation, by the way. ain't nobody got time for that - haha. It was probably in a different place in earlier versions of Outlook but you couldn't prove it by me!

Sorry, that isn't the only correct answer. In Office 2016 Hit File Options and select the General Tab, (which by default is the one open) and you get this:
