Hey guys,

Has anyone tried teamviewer on the ipad.? I tried it last night and found it worked quite well.

If you haven't tried I defo thinks you should give it a to.

Hi,

I've actually just done a post on this. I used it to support galaxy tab 2 (10.1) and thought it was a great piece of software. I assume it is similar for ipad

I've used Talktalk on the iPhone and iPad for years.

EASILY, the most used app on both by a L O N G way.

Especially as Nicks D7 forum is now tapatalk compliant.

I just got tapatalk2 for the iPhone, which after buying and trying (yep, wrong way around), I'm unsure about.
Not a lot of difference between that and the original tapatalk.

Regards

Am i missing something Bertie, hes talking about Teamviewer?

To the op, i have a Teamviewer business licence and the ipad version but im not that impressed with the latter.

I think Bertie was high at time lol.

Although Tapatalk is a great tool for browsing forums on ipad/iphone. In this case I was reffering to teamviewer lol.

I have it on my ipad. I use it for my home and family computers. I have only noticed one problem. When trying to connect to my wife's laptop while it is locked, the password text box will not activate to type in the pass. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn't.

The desktop version does not have this issue nor do I have the issue with connecting to any other computers.

My apologies.
I'm on holiday.
I was drunk.
It was raining.

Soz.

It works pretty well, not my first choice when I need to do remote support, prefer the full version on a PC or Mac, but it does the job when you are away from the computer or wifi. I have used it over the AT&T network and performance was acceptable.

I do think it is pricey considering that I already purchase the premium version, but would do it again.

I've used to experiment with on my iPad 2 for both remote Mac and Windows ( remote as in -- not on my own LAN but a few miles or many states away) Pays to have a fast wifi connection! Worked fine it seemed. Took a little bit of time for the ports to reset for the remote Win 7 machine to regain it's Internet connection. I'm in Kentucky, it was in Alexandria, Va.
