Hey Nibblers,

I have a design contest going on for a T-Shirt and want to get your input. Please keep in mind that I want these shirts to be designer-like but yet have my business information on it for marketing. These shirts will be given away to friends, family, and current customers who opt to have one. The reason why I chose a designer-type look is simple: If it's a walking billboard, people tend to not want to wear it.

What do you guys think about the shirts currently up? I know a lot of them look the same, but I figured I would poll you to see if I'm heading in the right direction with how I have them ranked so far.

Another reason why I'm posting this is for your benefit. If you see a design on these shirts that you like and you're decent with graphic design, I'm sure you can use the ideas from some of these to create your shirts (and not have to spend the money like I did).

Please let me know what you think and which one you like the most! If you have design ideas, that would be awesome too :)

Thanks!

Yeah, 80 or 81. Not a fan of white shirts myself just because they get dirty too easily. Looking at Squewheet's page, they do a lot of nice stuff. I did like the arm and blue graphic from the front on #77.

Pretty funny to see which ones are leading the way vs which ones have been eliminated. I also don't think $150 is too much for something like that; you just need to tweak what you plan to do with them. $150 + shirts to give away to family and friends is expensive. $150 + shirts to sell for a few bucks or give away with a big order, maintenance contract, etc is not expensive.

That's my first choice, thanks for confirming :)

I would go with #81 as well.

Thanks for the input :)

Yea, #77 didn't look too bad IMO, but the front seemed a little busy - and to top it off, it starts to get pretty spendy to do arm and edge graphics. The contest gives $150 to the designer that wins, but the actual contest itself costs $205 ($55 to the site). I have some spare cash so I decided to give out some free marketing material to friends, family, and current clients. Plus I'll be wearing it regularly :) I'm thinking about making several that have more information on them too - because I have no problem being a walking billboard :D

I kinda like #6 or #7 by Swasti.

I really like the "If we can't fix it, you pay nothing." I think that's a great motto.

I actually have several friends that like the simplicity of that shirt - and I completely agree. It's mimicking the other "phrase" shirts out there, but it works wonderfully with the motto. I'll likely make some shirts like that as well. Thanks for the confirmation :)

Not a fan of Squewheet's designs, especially when he throws in 5 of the exact same design, it's such a simple design, I wouldn't pay for it, personally.

I like number 77. Take off the edge and sleeve because of cost, and it's a great looking shirt.

To be honest, for a $150 prize, there's not a lot of good designs. RubanRenato has the best designs, imo.

I'm a fan of #81 and #71. Although white will show more dirt, I think it stands out more.

I agree - and I put a stipulation in the contest that whatever design I do pick will need to be provided for shirts in white, black, and gray. So far, I'm still leaning towards the #81 style.

Squewheet threw in multiple designs that look the same, but they have slight differences that I asked him to change and re-upload. That's why he has multiple designs up that look nearly identical.

#77 is a decent shirt, and that's why it's not eliminated, but its far from designer looking (which is what i'm leaning towards). I do agree that there are not very many good designs for the cost though. I'm hoping as the end nears, we'll see some good ones pop up?! I hope so anyway
