I wouldn't wanna spend any time on a motorway in something like that, but I'm sure it could be pretty good fun around a track or on smaller roads.

I said 'fun' not 'fast'.

You can still have fun on a track with just a handful of horses, in the right car .... even if the lap times are measured in hours.

Shouldn't be too bad though. I mean, it's probably only about the weight of a Sinclair C5 ... and at least twice as fast

Hmmm, I wonder if it'll make it over the pennines... (For the non British, the pennines are BIG hills separating the best (Yorkshire) and worst (Lancashire) bits of the UK.)

That is a point, you could go south then go up north via Staffordshire to avoid them, but that would be a stupidly long way round.

My tyres are decent, got very good wet grip etc. I have a 2010 1.1 litre FIAT Panda which is just stupidly cheap to run and has that wonderful Italian thing of making you smile.

Well, it's a Fiat.. You can either cry or smile. You chose the latter
