It's the weather for us.
This is going to sound insane. Even as I am writing this I realize it sounds kind of batty. I’ve been doing this since 2007, and in the last year we average about 10 drop offs a day. But it all seems to have to do with the weather. In Kentucky, during the spring we have “Spring Break” at local schools. People are out planting gardens, doing their lawns, vacation. My business just about dries up. Same during Fall Break, nice and cool outside, business disappears.
But when the humidity and heat here in Kentucky makes people burst into flames when they’re outside, or it’s below zero and they’re freezing solid de-thawing their cars, my business is steady.
Yeah, good thing we’ve got a savings for the low times.
Having said that, this July has been unseasonably cool (for July around here), and therefore has been a slow month. We’ve had a couple of weeks in the 70’s as opposed to the usual 90-100 degrees.
