STRANGE Internet speed problem - need thoughts

Ok, I'm downloading an ISO of Trixbox and Sourceforge is taking forever for some reason, I was getting 30-40Kbps. So I thought I would try a work around and I downloaded to my web hosting server - took 15 seconds (690 MB!!). Now it is on a server that can d/l roughly 300-900KBps but it is going the same 30-40KB it was on Sourceforge. Does this make sense?

Here are some tests I ran. This makes no sense IMO...
Oh, BTW, there is nothing else using bandwidth and I bet 1.2MB sustained transfers down, so that shouldn't be the issue either.

I would guess the servers are very close together for that type of speed, if not in the same building.

What speeds are you getting on speedtest.net. Otherwise could be your ISP.

Those ping times are horrible, and the ping times in the tracerts are too...

The only thing you've proven is your connection to both of the servers sucks...

Do you have admin access to your server? Do a ping from your web serve to the soundforge site, as well as tracert. That will show you the difference between your connection to those servers, and your server's connection to the other server.

It could be a temprorary issue with your Internet connction. What' your normal speedtest results on your connection? Those ping times look like a really bad wireless connection, or a satellite connection.
