I'm REALLY tired of the "technician" licensing crap. It seems like software companies think our biggest problem is shoveling our way through all of the money lying around to get to our computers. Spybot wants 67 bucks per computer, per year.
I'll never know if it works or not. (It certainly had become rather worthless over the years.)
I am still quite standoffish about Spybot after the bad taste it left me before, especially the Teatimer crap they had, a real system killer resource wise... I'm not too eager to use it again anytime soon...
As I recall, using / installing Teatimer was an option during the installation, wasn't it?
I'd agree but, just so you know, MBAM is intended to be run in regular Windows for maximum efficiency. Run it in Safe Mode if you must, but always follow up with a scan in regular mode.I dunno, I still like (prefer is more the word) MalwareBytes for general cleanup duties. It works great in "Safe Mode with Networking".
